Heavy-duty acoustic screen

Our robust acoustic screen is designed to withstand tough conditions and is available in larger sizes to meet varying needs. The screen features a frame made of sturdy 44 x 44 mm aluminum profile tubes, ensuring low weight and easy mobility. Thanks to its lightness, these screens weigh between 30 and 60 kg, making them easy to handle. They are equipped with wheels, two of which are lockable, to ensure stability and simple movement on the workplace floor.

The core of the acoustic screen consists of a 50 mm thick Maxibell A50 acoustic panel made of compressed stone wool. This construction provides an average noise reduction of 26 dB, making the screen highly effective at absorbing and reducing disruptive sound. The panel is covered with a protective PVC mesh and a PVC backing, adding extra durability and resistance against external impact and wear. This heavy-duty and versatile acoustic screen is ideal for industrial environments where effective noise reduction and durability are essential.

Noise reduction

Noise reduction: Rm = 26.2 dB (lab = 25 dB)

The noise reduction for the A50 has been measured in a laboratory environment.

The general acoustic reduction achieved by a screening is 5–7 dB. The human ear perceives a noise reduction of approximately 8 dB as a halving of the noise level.
