We are proud to have been entrusted with optimising the work environment at PTAB Plåtteknik. By combining our noise-reducing workplace walls with the flexible “Björn” curtain, we have created a bespoke solution that unites safety, ergonomics, and order on the shop floor.
Noise-reducing workplace walls for better focus
Our acoustic workplace walls do more than just lower noise levels. In the PTAB project, they also serve as stable mounting points for extraction arms, saving space and improving air quality.
The workplace walls can be supplemented with accessories such as tool holders and shelving to organise and adapt the welding booths to specific requirements.
The Björndraperiet™ curtain – focus on flexibility and safety
Each welding booth can be shielded or opened up smoothly using our “Björn” curtain system, suspended on tracks and trolleys. For this project, a 3-zone solution with vision panels was used, consisting of the “Björn” curtain in solid Grey and the “Björn” welding curtain in Transparent Yellow. This matches the colour scheme of the overhead cranes and the rest of the facility.
The transparent welding curtains protect against welding flash by blocking all UV light, while simultaneously increasing safety by allowing for clear visibility in and around the welding booths.
